TELL US ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
I manage the events and marketing for Blackfriars, which means I have a really varied role. One day I might be working on new marketing campaigns and the next I could be booking theatre shows or designing our own in-house programme, such as the Scriptorium pop-up cocktail events! 

HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED AT BLACKFRIARS?
Since 2012 - scary! 

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORKING DAY FOR HOLLY LOOK LIKE?
No day is the same. To give you a small snippet, I have lots of meetings with suppliers and customers, plan events, spend lots of time planning our social media channels and work closely with the VE team, who deliver our events on the ground.  I get to meet so many people in this job, which is the best thing about it 😊 

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT FROM YOUR TIME AT BLACKFRIARS SO FAR?
Looking after a horse called Daniel for History Festival! 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FEATURE OF THE PRIORY?  
A big stand out feature for me is the 13th Century scissor braced roof in the North Range, which was gifted by the king all those years ago and stands at 65ft tall!

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF WORK?
I love animals, nature and getting in the garden, where I am battling to learn how to successfully grow vegetables!  My perfect day is visiting my adopted donkey or walking somewhere naturally beautiful, having a picnic and a trusty flask of tea.
