Full Day Weddings

With three licensed spaces available for ceremonies suitable for weddings with 5 to 150 guests, a full day wedding at Blackfriars Priory is both magical and convenient.

We have a number of options to choose from, you may wish to hold an intimate ceremony in our atmospheric East Range, followed by wow factor celebrations in the iconic North Range or your whole day can be enjoyed in either of these magnificent spaces.

The venue is offered with exclusive use, meaning you will have your very own historic retreat for the duration of your wedding day. Guests can explore the ancient site while you are having your photographs taken, soaking in the ancient wash basin in the ruin or marvelling at the centuries of history in the Scriptorium. This building is believed to be the oldest standing purpose-built library in Northern Europe and is of international significance.

As the evening draws in, our garden comes alive with fairy lights and candles in lanterns along the pathway, offering a romantic outdoor escape from the dancing and festivities taking place in one of our stunning ranges.

Full day weddings are offered with access the day before to setup decorations (subject to availability) and the day after to collect, giving you the time to can sit back, relax and let our dedicated team look after you to ensure your special day runs like clockwork.
