Ceremonies

Blackfriars Priory offers three magical spaces for indoor wedding ceremonies and outdoor ceremonies are also available.

Micro Ceremonies

Our stunning lower East Range ‘Old Kitchen’ has recently been licenced for weddings of up to 14 people. Perfect for eloping couples or those wishing to celebrate with their very nearest or dearest, the ancient window, herringbone fireplace and 16th century bread oven will make your ceremony truly unique and memorable.

Intimate Ceremonies

The Upper East Range is an intimate space, perfect for ceremonies of up to 60 people. Featuring a beautiful scissor-braced ceiling, ancient stonework, fairy lights and candles, the Upper East Range promises an abundance of ambience and romance.

Large Ceremonies

The iconic North Range is perfect for large ceremonies. It will wow your guests with its 65ft scissor-braced ceiling, which displays original 13th century oak beams that were gifted to the site by King Henry III. Ceremony only options in the North Range start for up to 80 guests, while an additional 70 guests can be accommodated, bringing the total to 150.

Outdoor Ceremonies

Our stunning private cloister garden is a stunning setting for outdoor ceremonies. Surrounded by centuries of architectural styles, the yellow exterior of the onsite Scriptorium, the ancient ruin and overhanging fairy lights, your guests will be mesmerised by this incredible time capsule. Please contact our dedicated team for more details.
