Tell us a bit about your business and how it started
Art Clay Love is what it says; a love of art, creativity and ceramics. It started after many years wanting to spend more time being creative thus prompting a change of career. Initially a hobby and means of calm from everyday pressures, Katie now shares her enthusiasm with others, creating handmade, unique items and delivering workshops and classes for personal wellbeing or celebrating special occasions.
What makes your work eco friendly or sustainable?
Using natural, recycled and resued materials to create something that can be treasure for years to come and are not mass produced in a factory and transported miles. Plus engaging in creative activities is good for wellbeing, self-accomplishment and making lasting memories with loved ones.
What can couples expect to see from you at the Eco Wedding Festival?
Something different that you probably haven't seen before, tailored to their vision and incorporates a little piece of them.
What’s your top tip for planning a sustainable wedding?
Keep it simple and be authentic to yourselves. Making an impact isn't about matching or following the generic crowd.
